My Visit to Syria, 2009

While teaching a photography workshop to displaced youth in Jordan, I traveled to Damascus. I am deeply grateful that I was able to see a small bit of Syria before the war. I'm excited to share my memories and listen the stories of others who are from Syria or have traveled there. Let's celebrate this beautiful and ancient culture that is disappearing before our eyes.
